Schools Tree Day 2025

On Friday 25th July 2025, we spent a glorious sunny day planting trees with the Grade 3 boys from St Virgil's Primary School for National Tree Day!

This marks our fifth year planting trees with St Virgil's and our second year at the senior campus in Austins Ferry — a tradition that began at the junior campus in Hobart. It's been incredibly rewarding to watch this partnership grow alongside the trees we’ve planted together over the years.

This year, we revisited the labyrinth — originally established by Bushy around 20 years ago — to see how much the trees planted in 2024 have grown. We also added new trees to the area, continuing our shared commitment to caring for the environment.

Co-Op Toyota proudly donated a $500 Plants of Tasmania Nursery gift voucher to St Virgil's to help purchase new plants for National Tree Day.

It's a privilege for these students to return to the senior campus and witness the lasting impact of their efforts year after year.
